Exclusive drinking horn special version "Freya's Horn"
Freya's horn is a shapely masterpiece that is handcrafted. The engraved drinking horn is enthroned in a wrought-iron stand, adorned with old Viking engravings. The end of the horn is elegantly rounded off with a haptically very appealing spiral milling and is therefore particularly easy to grip.
Freya is the Wan goddess of fertility and love, spring and happiness. She is one of the most popular goddesses in Norse mythology. A special role is given to Freya in connection with death. Because while Odin, the father of the gods, takes half of the fallen warriors, the other half - the mighty Valkyries - got into Freya's hall Sessrumnir.
With various Viking engravings
The mouthpiece of the horn is lined with a Nordic knot, which is a symbol of power and gods. In the knot is the runic inscription "FREYA".
The centerpiece of the drinking horn is the depiction of Freya herself. The goddess is described in many tales as graceful, enchanting and beautiful. She is in possession of a falcon robe, which allows her to fly through the air like a bird of prey. At her feet sit her two faithful cats, powerfully pulling Freya's chariot.
Note: For optimal visibility, we trace the engravings with paint. It is quite natural for this color to fade somewhat at some point. However, the engraving itself is made to last!
