Warrior Drinking Horn from the Hornerey EPIC SERIES

The Warrior is one of the first designs in our EPIC SERIES. Each drinking horn is made from genuine natural horn and engraved by hand all the way around with an elaborate Norse-inspired design.

The same warrior motif appears on both sides of the horn. It features two warriors, crossed axes, round shields, knotwork and Nordic symbols. Between the two main design areas, the characteristic dotted lines continue around the horn. This means the engraving is not limited to the front, but extends around the entire surface.

Because we use real natural horn, every piece looks slightly different. Some horns are very light in colour, making the dark engraving stand out clearly, while others are much darker and feature a lighter-looking engraving. The grain, colour gradient and shape also vary from horn to horn.

The drinking horn holds approximately 500 ml and is suitable for mead, beer and other drinks. The set also includes a sturdy black leather holder with light-coloured stitching and lacing, allowing the horn to be carried securely on a belt.

A Hornerey cotton drawstring bag is also included. It is ideal for storing the drinking horn and also makes the complete set a great gift.

Every Horn Is Different

Natural horn cannot be standardised like plastic or glass, and this is especially noticeable with this design. One horn may be mostly cream-coloured, while another may be almost black or have a strong natural grain. The appearance of the engraving also changes depending on the base colour of the horn.

The product images therefore show examples of possible variations. The horn you receive may differ in colour and grain.

Please note: Colour, grain and engraving contrast may vary naturally. The drinking horn is not suitable for hot drinks and is not dishwasher safe. After use, rinse it by hand with lukewarm water only and allow it to dry thoroughly.
